The Garden Route is a region on the southern coast of South Africa along the N2 national road. It stretches from Hermanus in the Western Cape to Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape. The Garden Route includes towns such as George, Mossel Bay, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. The Garden Route is one of the most popular tourist attractions in South Africa and is visited by millions of tourists every year. Main attractions include the Garden Route National Park, the ostrich farms near Oudtshoorn and the Knysna lagoon. One of the best surfing spots in South Africa is Jeffreys Bay (west of Port Elizabeth).
