Nestled up against a mountainside nature reserve in a small quiet and peaceful suburb, this holiday lodge offers fully equipped and luxurious self-catering accommodation and boasts wonderful views of Hout Bay valley. The Lodge features attractive secluded gardens, with communal pool and sun deck. Each of the four suites has a full bathroom and sleeps 2-4 people.
Situated in the charming village of Hout Bay, the Lodge is 5 minutes drive from shops, restaurants, the beach and a busy fishing harbour; as well as being ideally located to explore the Cape Peninsula via Chapman’s Peak Drive, go wine tasting on the Constantia Wine Route or experiencing the world-class restaurants and cosmopolitan night life of Camps Bay and Cape Town city.
The suites are serviced daily Monday – Saturday (excl. public holidays), have Satellite TV channels, a DVD/CD player, wireless internet access is available plus there is secure on site parking.
For those wanting our bed and breakfast option a continental breakfast (an extra charge applies) is served on the patio (weather permitting) or in the guest’s own suite.
We regret that there is no smoking permitted in all suites, to ensure your comfort and that of subsequent guests. Those who wish to may smoke on the decks (ashtrays provided) or in the garden and pool areas.
Garden Suite (sleeps 2 -4 people)
A cool and restful 3 roomed suite with a wrap around verandah that leads directly onto a garden with a great view over the valley and to the surrounding mountains. The suite has its own small entrance gate within the secure property.
The bedroom has either a kingsize or twin beds. There's a good size bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle and a large living area that includes a double sleeper couch, a day bed as well as a fully equipped kitchenette with dining table & chairs.
New curtains, blinds and cushions in the living area and the bedroom give the suite a fresh new look.
Garden Suite comes fully equipped with:

Smoking is not permitted in the suite. Those who wish to, may smoke on the verandah – ashtrays are provided.

Studio Suite (sleeps 2 people)
Our more compact/budget suite situated at the top/back of the lodge opens directly onto its own paved patio looking up to the mountainside. The patio is furnished with outdoor furniture, a big sun umbrella & BBQ.
Studio Suite features either a king-size or twin beds, a small dining table & chairs, a concealed kitchenette plus an an en-suite bathroom.
Guests have full use of the communal pool and sun deck area.

Tree Top Suite (sleeps 2 people)
Situated at the top of the Lodge this 3 roomed suite has spectacular views over Hout Bay valley and to the mountains around. Both the bedroom and the kitchen/diner open out onto the large deck where there is outdoor furniture, a big sun umbrella, lounger & BBQ.
Tree Top is our premier suite with a kingsize four-poster bed in the large bedroom plus occasional chairs etc The bathroom includes a large corner bath and separate shower. There is a fully equipped kitchen/diner complete with a dining table and wicker chairs.
Tree Top Suite comes fully equipped with:

* DVD/CD player
* Wireless internet access
* Microwave oven, mini oven with hobs
* Fridge/freezer
* Hair dryer, iron & ironing board
* Fully equipped kitchen with dining table & wicker chairs

The suite also features a small “Nest” – a simple mezzanine floor (restricted height) above the kitchen/diner accessed via a wooden step ladder. The extra accommodation is suitable only for 2 children, 6 – 9 years old. Please ask for more details.

Valley Suite (sleeps 2-4 people)
A light, fresh and airy 3 roomed suite (Bed, Bath & Living rooms) with lovely views over the valley and to the surrounding mountains. Sit in the roll top bath, throw open the curtains and window and enjoy the scenery outside from the privacy of your sanctuary.
Valley View Suite has a comfortable double bed and in the bathroom a roll top bath and a separate glass shower cubicle. The large living area includes a fully equipped kitchenette, a small dining table & chairs, a double sleeper couch, a day bed, satellite TV and a DVD/CD player.
The suite has recently been fitted with new blinds and cushions in both the bedroom and the living area and so is looking bright and fresh.
