The Overberg region is situated to the east of Cape Town and lies along the south coast between the Cape Peninsula and the Garden Route. The Overberg region is also one of the youngest wine areas in South Africa. This might not be a traditional wine route that is recommended in most guide-books but it is definitely one of the most exciting.
